Looney Tunes and Greasy Pizza - Project 2!

As promised, it has not been long before I once again dive into another project. This one is even more ambitious and demanding than my INSIDE trailer project, both in terms of time management and technical skill. After attending a session run by gaming peers, I listened to some pitches for a simple platform game that would require audio elements. One in particular caught my interests - a team with the group name Carbarians were hoping to create a game that was very comedic in theme and principle - playing off the idea that constantly ordering takeout was a shameful and embarrassing action, the team aim to create a neighbourhood that has shunned fast food delivery. As a result, the player is an employee of an undercover food delivery service that is paid to provide greasy cheat foods to members of the community undetected. If the player is discovered by suspicious neighbours - or even worse a family member - the game is lost.

Whilst the theme for the game is a silly prospect in the real world, its exaggeration of the judgement of a majority takeout diet is very humorous, and to me makes the game charming and quite comedic. It is safe to say my interest was definitely spiked.

The audio that they would be requiring would be some theme music to run in the background while the player completes the level.

During their pitch, they mentioned a Looney Tunes theme song as a reference track for their audio assets. Using this as inspiration, this week I have completed a track teardown of a Looney Tunes theme song.

At this current point, I am the only audio person signed on to this project. I am hoping that I can get another person (at least) to join onto this project with me, to lighten the workload and as another set of creative ideas.
